Smoothie N4

Yields2 Servings

Warm your immune and nervous system with camu camu. Native to the rain forests of Peru and Brazil, camu camu has more vitamin C than almost any other food source on the planet. Its anti-inflammatory and anti-viral properties make it a great way to ward off colds and infections as the weather gets chilly, and has even been prescribed as a natural depression remedy. Walnuts provide a healthy dose of Omega-3s as well as antioxidants, and grapes are full of cancer-fighting polyphenols.

 1 ½ oz collard greens
 1 pear - chopped
 4 oz grapes
 ½ tsp camu camu
 3 tbsp walnuts
 1 cup ice

Put all the ingredients in a blender and whizz until completely smooth. If it’s a little thick, add a drop of chilled water then blitz again.
